Starting Classes

Block Booking

I'm thinking about joining a class via Block Bookings, but can I try it first before I commit?

Absolutely! You can try a class by booking on to just one session of it (via a Class Pass booking or an Individual Class booking) before committing to the full term! Just be aware that some classes do sell out, so it may be that by the time you come to book the term, you

have to join the Waiting List for specific weeks.

Can I join a class part way through the term?

For sure! We welcome people at any stage during the term! And if you want the benefits of booking via Block Booking (i.e. guaranteed space and cheaper prices) you can do that at an stage too! Whenever you book via a Block Booking you'll only pay for the remaining weeks of the term.

I want to sign up for a full term, via Block Booking, but I'm away for 1-2 weeks of the term. Is that okay?

We are happy for people to sign up for Block Booking, even if they already know at the beginning of term that they'll miss a couple. If that is the case you just need to email us IMMEDIATELY after you've completed your Block Booking, stating the classes + dates that you'll miss. We'll then send you a discount code equivalent to the number of classes you're missing, for you to use for your next booking.

I love dancing and want to join classes, but I'm not sure what level I should go for...

Lots of our classes are splint into levels. You'll see the levels noted in the schedule. The classes that are not split into levels are open to all! And they really are! In these classes you'll have some dancers who are brand new, some that have been taking classes with us for years and some that were dancing before they could walk! And regardless of people's boogie backgrounds, are focus is making are EVERYONE feels comfortable and welcome! If you're not sure about which level to go for, buy a Class Pass and try a couple to see what you like. Or have a look at the videos on our Instagram page. Or get in touch, let us know what you're look for and we'll give your some guidance!

Where can I learn more about your different classes?

We have a whole page dedicated to describing what's what in our classes. We'd also recommend taking a look at the videos on our Instagram page

I'm not sure what type of booking to go for (Block vs Individual vs Class Pass)...

Check out these page that explains your Booking Options in detail.

Where are your studios and do they have parking?

Check out this page, dedicated to directions and parking.

Class Pass Booking

How do I buy a class pass?

When you buy a Class Pass you must book at least one class with it, to order to actually pay for the Class Pass.

Here's how...

  • Above the schedule of classes, you’ll see a button for CLASS PASSES. Select this.

  • Then choose the Class Pass you want to buy, by pressing SELECT in the appropriate box.

  • Next press VIEW SELECTIONS (bottom right corner).

  • A yellow box will pop up telling you to book a ticket. Easy. Just press SELECT TICKETS.

  • You’ll be taken back to the Schedule, where you can then select the class(es) you’d like to book using your Class Pass. Book them as Individual Classes - you'll see a note telling you they're included in your Class Pass.

  • You’ll note that the fee in your basket is that of the Class Pass. And it doesn’t change as you add classes (unless those classes are not covered by your selected Class Pass).

How do I change or cancel my Class Pass bookings?

  • Find your confirmation email and click VIEW BOOKING

  • Then click TICKET OPTIONS

  • You’ll then have 2 choices (assuming you’re making changes at least 12hrs before the class is due to start)

TRANSFER TICKET - to move the booking to a different class

CANCEL TICKET - to cancel the class and get a pass back

  • If you click OPEN SCHEDULE, you’ll be taken back to the schedule where you can book more classes with your Class Pass!

How do I book on to more classes with my Class Pass?

  • Follow the guide here for info on how to continue using your Class Pass after your first booking. Spoiler alert - as long as your Class Pass is valid for the class you're trying to book AND you use the same email address you initially bought it with, the class with automatically be taken from your Class Pass. It may look like, for a moment, you're going to get charged but you won't (and if you do, and you shouldn't have been, contact us as we'll sort it!).

Individual Class Booking

How do I book an Individual Class?

  • Scrolling through the schedule, find the class you want to book on the date you want to book it.

  • Scroll down to see your booking options and select INDIVIDUAL CLASS BOOKING. It'll then go into your basket.

  • You can then press VIEW SELECTIONS to go through the payment. Or SELECT MORE to add more classes to your basket.

How do I manage/cancel my Individual bookings?

  • Find your confirmation email and click VIEW BOOKING

  • Then click TICKET OPTIONS

  • You’ll then have 2 choices (assuming you’re making changes at least 12hrs before the class is due to start)

TRANSFER TICKET - to move the booking to a different class

CANCEL TICKET - to cancel the class

  • If you click CANCEL TICKET you'll be removed from the register. And assuming you're cancelling at least 12hrs before the start of the class, we will follow up with a discount code for you to use for your next booking i.e. if you're cancelling a £7.50 class we will send you discount code worth £7.50 to use within 90 days.

Waiting lists

What does the red circle with the line running through it mean?

This symbol means that the class is full on that specific day. That doesn’t mean it’s full every week! So be sure to check out the other dates. For example BBF may be full on Monday 6th September, but there may be space on Monday 13th September.

For full classes, we’d 100% recommend joining the Waiting List as we always have cancellations. So 9 out of 10 times you will get in! (But without joining the Waiting List, you won’t get notified when a spot comes up for you!)

How do I join the Waiting List?

If a class is full, you’ll need to join the Waiting List. You’ll find the button for doing so above the photo for the event.

Make sure you join the Waiting List for ALL the dates you want to join the class. Sometimes people think that because they joined the Waiting List for the first class of the block, they’ll get notified if a spot comes up each week. Unfortunately that's not the case. You need to go and join the Waiting List for every single week you want to do.

It says a class has spaces, but I can’t book a Block Booking…

This means that SOME of the classes within that term have spaces, and some don’t. Take Thursday Jazz for example - it may be full in week 1 + 2 but have spaces in weeks 3-7. That means you won’t be able to book the full term. But you can book on to individual weeks (via Individual Class Bookings or Class Pass). And then join the Waiting List for the full weeks! Easy!
